No U.S attack on Iran during Obama's Presidency.

Sahit Muja: No U.S attack on Iran during Obama's Presidency.
President Obama made it clear that the U.S. was not in favor of going to war against Iran.

President Obama is in for more sanctions. And he agrees to talk more with Iran's leaders yet once again.
I agree with President Obama's calm and measured presentation on Iran.

Most of the American people do not want another war and the President is a nobel peace prize winner.
Obama's 2008 Presidential campaign  was able to attract the support by pointing out that he had come out against the war in Iraq.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said: "My supreme responsibility as prime minister of Israel is to ensure that Israel remains the master of its fate."
We Americans couldn't agree more. I just wonder why you need to fly halfway around the world to announce this in a foreign country whose leaders and people have never denied it.

How about just "mastering your own fate" and leaving U.S out of it.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu wants to insure that before Obama is re-elected with the Jewish vote that his strategic card is played and he has a solid American commitment to backup Israel in the event of war
It is time for Iran to choose a different path and to show the world that it wants a peaceful, negotiated solution to the nuclear issue.

Why would Iran even dare to throw a small nuclear device on Israel and ignite a response that will certainly bring Iran to a stone age?  Israel has some 300 nuclear weapons capable of destroying Iran.
I can blame Iranian leadership of many shortcomings, Iran know well the consequences of any foolish action.

What would Iran want most?
Israel to strike first. So please don't.

What would be best for the rest of the world?
A coalition of Western and Arab nations coming together to force Iran to give up nukes one way or another and this can only happen if Israel refrains from striking first.
I still remember the claims that Saddam Hussein had Weapons of Mass destruction. UN weapons inspector Hans Blick said there was no evidence but we were all taken in by politicians.

The resulting war was a disaster, it was a disaster for the U.S and its allies not only because of the thousands troops who died but the hundreds of thousands of ordinary people who's lives were destroyed because of a fools errand.
I don't know if Iran is developing nuclear weapons - none of us know if they would use them if they had them North Korea is madder and it hasn't.

America needs to BE VERY SURE to know the answers to the above before they start another war
If Israel launches a strike, Iran will respond with missiles that will hit Arab Gulf refineries, docks, and ships. Oil prices will soar. US counter-retaliation against Iranian export infrastructure would only bump up oil and gas prices more.
Iran has had plenty of time to disperse its uranium processing to multiple locations, some of them decoys, others close to civilian sites.

Israeli strikes could barely cover half. The  war would obliterate Iran's dissident movements and bolster support for the regime.
Why are there still voters who can be convinced that every problem can be solved by military action and the death and injury of thousands of Americans, while draining our nation's economic blood?

We have a choice. We can buy into yet another false argument (anyone remember WMDs in Iraq) regarding nukes in Iran and let the warmongers take us into another Middle Eastern conflagration, or we can DEMAND that they find a different solution. The world community must take any and every opportunity to resolve differences at the negotiation table. We look to the developments in North Korea as a hopeful and positive step.
We are all much better off when we can avoid conflict and war. There is no debate about this point.

Let it be known to the people banging their drums for war. You people represent as much, if not more, of a threat to the stability of the area and the world. We all have experienced the run up to a war.
Exaggeration of the opponent's capabilities, fear mongering of all types and forms and the lies for a justification of war.
Let it also be known that many of us would not hesitate for one second if a real threat is made.
The arrogance of the people advocating war should not be interpreted as their superior stance when confronting national security concerns.

The world knows that when President Obama says that America will use all it's capabilities to protect us, there is no doubt.
We must use every path to avoid war and conflict to resolve our differences. I believe that America can see that the effort, led by Secretary of State Clinton, can achieve much more than the cowardly calls for war.
